Alex Russell is an interdisciplinary artist, whose practice is centered on processing grief and placelessness through ecology, cosmology, and emergent systems, when the smallest of actions can create complex ecosystems and societies. They have created numerous public art projects in-place, been awarded grants from Penn State’s Studio for Sustainability and Social Action, and curated an innovative exhibition, Home Body, an indoor gallery and artwalk in Downtown State College, PA.
