A three part sculpture the size of the artist’s height and grief, which is meant to refract into “glimmers” a trauma-informed term for moments of beauty in traumatic situations. It is both a teardrop, planet, fruit, and disco ball that is potentially rotting, being eaten, splitting apart, or coming together. This sculpture incorporates recycled mirrors from neighbors found through social media postings, plastic gemstones, and dried Dyer’s Chamomile grown in the artist’s community garden installation.
